Kristen Bell is an American actress and singer born in 1980 in Huntington Woods, Michigan. She began performing at a young age, appearing in local theater productions and commercials, and later studied musical theater at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. While still a student, she made her Broadway debut in 2001 as Becky Thatcher in *The Adventures of Tom Sawyer* and appeared in the 2002 Broadway revival of *The Crucible*[1][3][6]. Bell moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue television and film roles.
